Google has quite literally offered up their Stree View of the ultimate rock in Yosemite – El Captian
From the official Google blog:
“Today we’re launching our first-ever vertical Street View collection, giving you the opportunity to climb 3,000 feet up the world’s most famous rock wall: Yosemite’s El Capitan. To bring you this new imagery, we partnered with legendary climbers Lynn Hill, Alex Honnold and Tommy Caldwell”
This will take your breath away. Pushing one’s self to this level is truly inspirational.
As much as Apple wants to do its own version of street view for maps, this author doesn’t see anything like this coming from Cupertino anytime soon.
